All of these thigs are true but one

-rode across a desert on a horse with no name... (the horse died)

- hitchhiiked through Damascus

-accidentally walked in a minefield

-would keep a fire burning constantly for 7 months of a year

-was asked to be clothing designer

-ate several animals that had names

-built a sandtrap

-lent my car's engine to a buddy for the weekend

-put myself through journalism school while working at an emergency group home

-was asked to join a European think tank

-became a national correspondent after four years graduation from journalism school

-quit to pursue independent documentary work

-created the concept for the fall launch campaign for Global National in 2002

-has been a national correpsondent/foreign correpsondent for two Canadian Networks

-worked as a national producer for CBC

-videographed numerous documentaries for Radio Canada 

-drove across Western Canada in a 26' 1973 homemade motorhome rigged to do news... it didn't die.

-used the motorhome a newsgathering vehicle for the G8 in Kanaskis as well as a daily driver

-had private audience with prince of Jordan

-inspired a conference on media, and the proliferation of how media will be used by everyday people in the middle east 

-consulted the Chinese govt on media relations

-played the ultimate provincial championship game in a dress (and lost)

-has never been to south america

-has a degree in international relations and also in environmental geography

-has no formal camera training

-owned a 1975 cadillac eldorado convertible, 1967 vw microbus, 1972 bronco, 1973 VW Thing

-auditioned for a role in a caveman movie while on the road covering the National election.
